(tlačová správa CEA Trenčín, 5. jún) Pri príležitosti Svetového dňa životného prostredia vyhlásila Nadácia pre environmentálne vzdelávanie so sídlom v Kodani výsledky medzinárodnej súťaže. Slovensko so ziskom 4 prvých a 2 druhých miest dosiahlo mimoriadny úspech a počtom „zlatých medailí“ patrí medzi najúspešnejšie z 34 krajín z celého sveta http://www.yre.global/ .
V medzinárodnej súťaži Mladých reportérov pre životné prostredie o najlepší reportérsky článok, fotografiu a video-reportáž boli ocenení:

O výsledkoch súťaže rozhodla medzinárodná porota zložená z odborníkov v oblasti environmentálnej žurnalistiky a vzdelávania pre udržateľný rozvoj so zastúpením UNEP a UNESCO http://www.yre.global/our-jury/ na stretnutí 24. mája v Kodani. Okrem vecných cien patrí k výhre aj uverejnenie víťazných príspevkov v Huffington Post Kids.
Do medzinárodného kola súťaže bolo nominovaných celkom 129 reportážnych fotografií, článkov a videí https://yrecompetition.exposure.co/, víťazov národných kôl. Young Reporters for the Environment www.yre.org je environmentálny vzdelávací program, do ktorého je Slovensko (ako jediné z krajín V4) zapojené od roku 2009. Program koordinuje Centrum environmentálnych aktivít Trenčín (www.mladireporteri.sk) a zastrešuje sieť Špirála (www.spirala.sk).
